The Photographer

Jimmy Powell is a professional photographer based in Richmond, Virginia. His primary focus is on capturing the beauty of the natural world as well as the abstract nature of photography including macro and light painting. He acquired his love of photography while living in Redondo Beach, CA and photographing the spectacular sunsets and beach scenes common to the area. His main interest is to share his art with as many people as possible and remind us all of what a beautiful planet we live and how truly remarkable Mother Nature is.

Jimmy shoots exclusively using Canon cameras, Canon lenses, and the DJI Maverick III drone.
